Our genetic predisposition, our life's lessons, and our soul's past journeys are all present but not defined through any experiences. In our life journey we are influenced and molded into someone who reflects not only our environment but also our choices, whether made consciously or not. By the age of five, most of our belief systems are formed about life, ourselves, others, and the world. If the experiences that supported these beliefs were negative, then we continue to view life as such, attracting more relatively negative experiences to support our beliefs until someone or something comes along to offer another belief or viewpoint. It is only through change that we attract more positivity to affect who we are and what we want in life. Soul Union offers a path to this freedom and self-development.
How do you work?
I use a refined version of applied kinesiology as a foundation to gather information. People either come to me with definite agendas for information and clarity, or they allow their body or subconscious to lead the session. Either way, their priority is almost always addressed. Aside from kinesiology, my intuition is accentuated by audio and visual information given to me by a combination of parts of myself that have been developed and parts of the individual that wants assistance. I believe that we all want to become more whole in our lives, and this belief of mine attracts to me lots of issues and pieces of self that may not have been known or even thought about.
How will this benefit me?
We all have our patterns in life, the ways that we conduct ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally. These patterns are rarely looked at until we start to say, “Why am I so unhappy? Alone? In a meaningless job or relationship?” This work assists individuals on their journey toward health and well-being. Being a contented, happy, healthy person is always one of the goals, no matter how long it takes or the directions one's individuation chooses.
Is it a long process?
Long is a word that's relative. If it's taken you forty years to develop who you are and you're not satisfied with yourself, then it may take a while more. It's not about going through certain steps and then you've arrived and now have a better life. Each step is a change that betters you and those around you. As you change, so do the influences around you such as your family, and that will provide you with more opportunities to use your new awareness and thus help you grow even more. It's like having a hand taking you up a ladder: With each step there is less darkness and more light, and you can see better and touch more of yourself and what's around you. Eventually the hand will no longer be needed. It's not waiting for the end to begin: It's being aware and in tune each step of the way to grow into yourself. I have found in working with numerous people that the depth of this work far exceeds our own conscious awareness, providing a broader, deeper look at oneself.
Can I do this on my own?
I believe anything is possible. The likelihood, however, is not probable. It takes wellness, courage and persistence to grow. At times it's necessary to have support and encouragement as well as a fresh viewpoint and thinking out of the box. I can say, however, that so much information is covered in just one session that it may take you weeks or longer to absorb and integrate it, as well as to complete the specific tasks. All this time, which offers you situations to learn from, you do things on your own.
What is the difference between your work and others?
Being trained academically in various modalities that include physiology, the mechanics of the body, emotional overlays, relationship dynamics, and spiritual counseling has given me a well-rounded wealth of experience to draw from. My internal guidance gives me clear information to relay, encompassing sometimes generations, lifetimes, and future possibilities. I believe the work is very thorough. Not that my work is a “one-stop shop,” for truly the path in healing is finding anything that is needed for you, including others' workshops, modalities, and medical tests or treatment.
How often should I see you?
This is truly up to you. For those who procrastinate or avoid, I may suggest up to two times a month. For those who feel a need to rush it so they can get it over with, their healing in part is to slow down, relax and breathe, and for them once every four or six weeks is sufficient. They may be uncomfortable but it's all part of learning something new, and I also give them lots on a to-do list. The average is one time a month unless life hands you a challenge, and then it's adjusted accordingly. Getting the most out of each session depends on your commitment to yourself, which leaves the door open for the frequency.
If I have a physical problem, how can you help?
If your issue is muscular, then the hands-on approach to rebalance and release pain may be necessary. Nutritional support at some stage of healing is always called for, and we individualize it for specific needs. On the deeper levels, our physical bodies are not a separate entity from our mental outlooks, our emotional past, or our spiritual path. If there is a large or small emotional trauma that has not been expressed or dealt with, the feelings of that trauma become fused together. This fusion attracts more and more emotional situations, traumas and negative choices, which moves the original fusion deeper. If still not expressed or identified as a possible upset in the system, the issue may try to resolve itself through our dreams, and if it's not released in that way, it may move deeper to become a physical manifestation and eventually illness and disease. In any physical problem there is always an emotional source, a mental belief, and a spiritual element to be uncovered, understood, and used to provide more choices.
What do you mean by ‘lessons'?
We all come into this life to learn. Our specific lessons are chosen by us on our soul level as opportunities for growth. These lessons revolve around the major threads or themes in our life. For example, abandonment issues, anger, passive-aggressive behavior, and relationship failures can all be traced to a possible need for balancing aloneness. Balance is an important element of any lesson, for the pendulum needs to swing to both far extremes before coming into the center. Therefore, to deal with aloneness, we may constantly have on the noise of the TV or always be on the go without any down time. In healing, we have to experience the opposite to bring the pendulum back to the center and discover the emotions that are propelling our actions in avoiding being and feeling alone. Once that feeling is identified and fully experienced, information and tools to develop a centered approach are initiated.
Our entire life is a web of interconnecting links and patterns that support our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual framework. We as humans need to have both individuation and oneness in every aspect and situation to be as complete as we can be. By breaking down the framework that doesn't work and building a new framework, we learn our lessons and move on.
How do we identify those lessons?
Basically, a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual excavation is needed. For example, we look at our parents and their beliefs, at our environment in childhood, at our present-day beliefs and feelings, at our negative outlooks, and at what we attract in life over and over.
